LEAN techniques for accountants - Maximising business profitability - Workshop 2016

This program aims to ensure that business opportunities are maximised for profitability through practical LEAN management  techniques for accountants. You will develop an understanding in LEAN techniques applicable in a practical business environment and learn how to identify the inefficiencies, waste and restraints within your organisation so as to ensure effective utilisation of resources.  

An intensive workshop covering the application of LEAN management techniques to business environments as drivers in:

1. LEAN Strategic Planning;

2. LEAN Accounting & Costing.

3. LEAN Management‐ making it really work;

4. Value Streams & Value‐add processes;

5. LEAN Performance Measures.

You will learn to develop practical ways of developing plans for the implementation of LEAN tools and techniques across your organisation. In addition, the ability to measure and monitor what is necessary for the sustainable growth of the new lean organisation. This will enable you to continuously drive out waste, add value and optimise performance.

You will gain the ability to determine how to identify the policies and processes that exist only for their self‐perpetuation, and to replace or eliminate those that do not add value. This will have the effect of increasing time availability, open up opportunities for improved and streamlined processes, as well as benefitting the decision‐making activity. William Francis Rowlands
Francis Rowlands is an international business trainer who has delivered programs across several major global brands in Asia such as KPMG, Sony, Coca Cola and Renesas. He also has extensive experience working with large national corporations and SMEs, as well as professional institutes in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and the United Kingdom. He has more than 15 years’ experience in manufacturing industries, eight years in the motor industry and nearly 25 years as a business development specialist across most business sectors. Francis headed the Management Accounting team for British Oxygen’s (BOC) largest UK subsidiary, and was responsible for three manufacturing plants.
