This workshop describes the effective tools to discern and influence the valuation of a firm. From a unified perspective, the deliverables focus will anchor on operations forensics, i.e. looking at operations management and not from traditional point of view of a manager but from that of an investor or/ and shareholder.

Equally important in this era of data-filled world, the business analysis tools to be taught are designed with the principal consideration of filling up the gap of HOW, i.e. many business and technology leaders are aware of the opportunities advanced analytics can bring to their business but struggle to define HOW exactly Value is going to be generated.

Key Topics Covered:

  • Operations Forensics- What Financial Statements may and may not reveal. (To illustrate with Singapore Listed Companies Financial Reports) and how Forecasting Analysis helps as part of Predictive Business Analytics
  • Operational Indicators
    • Indicators of Stock Market Performance
    • Indicators of Disruption (i.e. unexpected events)
