The workshop provides you with knowledge of the most useful functions in Excel for financial modelling, a sound understanding of financial modelling and company valuation concepts, and experience in designing solutions to real-world financial modelling challenges.

Key topics covered:

• Session 1: Introduction to financial modelling
• Session 2: Financial statements-reporting and analysis
• Session 3: Revenue recognition
• Session 4: Valuation (Application)

NOTE: Participants are required to bring along a laptop with Microsoft 2010 for the training.

Objectives

• Have the hands-on approach of the financial modeling features in Microsoft Office Excel to perform day-to-day functions within investment and finance function
• Construct advanced financial modelling
• Demonstrate useful shortcut in Microsoft Excel for financial modelling in order to effectively expedite financial model construction
• Formulate the financial modelling and project financing concepts learned in this workshop in building an actual financial mode
