Description
A business plan is an operational and actionable plan that is linked to achieving your overall strategy. An effective business plan is a roadmap providing direction to the business and clarity on aspects such as raising finance, acquiring staff, developing a marketing strategy and even the day to day business operations and the products and services you offer.
The focus of this module is to provide you with the process and methodology for developing a business plan.
A business plan is unique to its business. However, there are some common elements and specifics that must be included as a minimum. Your business plan anchors your strategic goals and should include clear actionable initiatives, information on deadlines, performance measures and implementation milestones.
Prior to execution, careful planning of the stakeholder communications and engagement strategy is also necessary to support the business plan.
This module provides guidance and downloadable resources to assist you in drafting your business plan.
