CPA Australia is proud to partner with Women on Boards (WOB), for the delivery of the CPA Australia Women in Leadership (Finance) virtual classroom series, aimed at providing support to members career progression by addressing the professional development needs of female leaders.
Develop your understanding around what counts in managing your career from a strategic perspective, how to exercise influence and why you need self-awareness and clarity around your career narrative. Support yourself to dig deep and align your purpose and values with your career goals. Thrive at work and in life - regardless of what the future holds.
Offered over eight virtual sessions, the program is highly interactive and features a suite of templates, tools and approaches that can be applied wherever you are on your career journey.

Learning in the program comes from a variety of initiatives:
- Presentations and discussions with guest speakers and panellists
- Peer group activity/insights
- Personal reflection and insights
- 24‐hour access to additional resources, tools and templates via our online learning platform
- The ‘Plan on a Page’ activity - A career management tool which is built on throughout the program
- Individual presentation challenges
- 1:1 Mentoring with a highly experienced and qualified Women on Boards Mentor/Coach
Once registered you will receive further correspondence from Women on Boards (WOB), including compulsory pre and post course work for each session to help support practical application of the learning in the workplace. The additional coursework is reflected in the number of CPD hours attributed to this course.
Each session will be recorded and made available to participants in addition to learning content such as webcast recordings, webcast interviews and other associated program resources.
A certificate of completion will be issued to each member after attending the series.

Audience
This program is designed for CPA Australia female members who are currently working in the finance sector and are looking to advance their career opportunities to senior management roles and board positions.
