Description
CPA Members only
CPA Australia has partnered with the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) to curate a collection of data and digital courses exclusively for CPA members. CFI courses have an emphasis on hands-on, practical learning and skills acquisition. They teach in-demand industry practices, tools and techniques that help accounting and finance professionals build confidence, stand out from the competition, and make a positive impact on their careers.
In this course, designed for professionals in finance and related industries, you will develop the critical thinking skills necessary to navigate the growing interest in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues. Building upon the foundational knowledge from CFI's Introduction to ESG course, you will explore the concepts of systems thinking and the significance of context in ESG. Through practical exercises, you will learn to conduct materiality assessments, identify risks and opportunities for stakeholders, and evaluate the quality of corporate ESG actions. Additionally, you will engage in an exercise to create an ESG scorecard based on example client directives, empowering you to make informed financial decisions.
We encourage you to review CFI’s specific technical requirements.
