Description
The delivery of goods and services to consumers requires a series of steps throughout a network known as a supply chain. A supply chain can include a complex web of suppliers and processes that requires a vigilant approach to management. The global economy has become more vulnerable to widespread shocks – from geopolitical and trade shocks, to major weather events and cyber attacks. The resilience of supply chains has never been more important.
This module will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to map a supply chain for a business, including the scope, information gathering and steps in the process. You will learn how to identify, assess and analyse key supply chain risks across the network using a risk matrix.
The module will also help you to implement strategies to mitigate the identified risks in the supply chain that cannot be eliminated. Supply chain resilience will lead to the success of all firms today and in the future, and this knowledge will help you provide valuable advisory services to your clients.
